Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or 6 years with a Masters degree, or 4 years with a PhD. 4 additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval.
- Proficiency in System Administration on Ubuntu.
- Over 5 years of hands-on engineering or administration experience in networking fundamentals, network architecture and design, Cisco, RHEL, and Windows OS.
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE).
- Experience with DevOps infrastructure, particularly Gitlab Project and vSphere.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible and YAML.
- Strong expertise in Linux Red Hat System Administration and general Linux systems.
- Knowledge in Filesystems, Networking (nmcli and Firewall), SELinux, package modification, configuration and installation, building binaries from source (CMake, GCC, Ninja), and working with Syslogs / MQTT brokers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of System Administrators, DevOps subject matter experts, and Test Engineers.
- Oversee the establishment of a reproducible, secure, and immutable test network for integration, testing, and prototyping.
- Design and manage the software testing infrastructure and concept of operations (ConOps).
- Collaborate with counterpart leads in integration and lab operations to expedite and achieve program milestones.
- Coordinate and implement derived requirements from software development stakeholder teams.
