Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience, or a Masters degree with at least 6 years, or a PhD with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret SCI clearance with a background investigation completed within the past 5 years or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation.
- Capacity to acquire and retain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) promptly as determined by business necessities.
- Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance (preferred).
- Experience in System Testing (preferred).
- Familiarity with DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA (preferred).
- Background in ICD development and integration (preferred).
- Experience across multiple Systems Engineering disciplines, including requirements management, integration, technical configuration management, and cyber (preferred).
- Knowledge of Agile Design Methodology (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop Requirement Verification Plans (RVPs) based on authorized requirements and design reviews for new features and modifications.
- Coordinate the reviews and approvals of RVPs regarding Verification Methods.
- Aid in the collection and assessment of Verification Data Products from System Testing to confirm that the verification data aligns with the intent and scope of the RVS/RVP.
- Create Requirement Verification Records (RVRs) and manage the internal Systems Engineering and Integration reviews, including customer approval of the RVR.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Responsible Engineers (REs) to gather analyses and data concerning requirements with Verification Methods such as Analysis or Inspection.
- Formulate and release System Test & Verification Plans for each Integrated Functionality Change (IFC).
- Generate and distribute System Test & Verification Reports to conclude verification activities for each IFC.
- Assist in peer reviews to ensure program deliverables satisfy system verification requirements.
- Support System Test engineers in formulating their test procedures to guarantee accurate interpretation of requirements and integration of RVS.
- Engage in Test Procedure peer reviews.
- Aid in adjudicating test findings based on an understanding of necessary system behaviors.
- Conduct system definition activities for features and Design Requirements (DRs), including defining use cases, requirements, and acceptance criteria for features.
- Participate in investigating early issues and findings to determine if requirements are affected and assist in criticality adjudication.
- Coordinate efforts with REs and System Test personnel to ensure integrated functions are prepared for formal verification by the test team.
- Leverage your ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, showcasing your action-oriented approach, strong attention to detail, and robust communication skills.
- Utilize your experience to support Systems Engineering Milestones such as System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), and Critical Design Review (CDR).
- Draw upon your knowledge of the complete lifecycle of Systems Engineering, including requirements decomposition, test planning, verification, and management of requirements.
