Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience for a Sr. Principal Embedded Engineer Software with a Bachelors in a STEM field, 6 years with a Masters, or 4 years with a PhD
- Must be a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance renewed within the last 6 years
- Capability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Over 4 years of experience in developing software and coding in C/C++/C#, Python, or similar programming languages
- At least 4 years of experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns
- More than 2 years of experience with hardware/software communication interfaces, real-time systems, and post-processing data analytics
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering using Cameo
- Familiarity with the IBM Rational tool suite (DOORS)
- Experience working in Agile environments and with a cross-functional Scrum team, using Atlassian Tool Suite
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, operate, and maintain software and firmware components along with systems software in accordance with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements
- Adhere to applicable standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development lifecycle
- Create and support engineering applications and products, including laboratory simulation systems and aircraft flight control systems
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, users, and other technical and support staff to resolve issues and integrate solutions
