We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- For Level 03, Principal: A Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience, a Master’s Degree with 3 years, or a Ph.D. with no experience. Alternatively, an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- For Level 04, Sr. Principal: A Bachelor’s Degree with 9 years of experience, a Master’s Degree with 7 years, or a Ph.D. with 4 years. Again, an additional 4 years of experience may be taken as a substitute for a degree.
- An active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph at the time of application is essential.
- Experience in planning and setting up enterprise-level security tools, including the configuration, installation, and operations management of tools like Splunk, Rapid7, Trellix, and SQL databases.
- A DoD IAT Level II Security+ Certification is required.
- Background in Department of Defense (DoD) System Security Engineering activities is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), and requirements development based on control listings is expected.
- Proficiency in managing tasks related to the engineering and implementation of Program Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)/Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) tools is crucial.
- Skilled in evaluating the system security posture of the Program in line with customer requirements and directives.
- Ability to modify commercial security methods and technologies within sensitive environments per NIST 800-53 is advantageous.
- Experience with RMF (NIST 800-37) accreditation processes including documentation, scanning, assessment, Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) management, and all RMF procedures is essential.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be tasked with:
- Driving progress with the Programs’ SIEM & SOAR enterprise implementations.
- Ensuring the successful planning, configuration, and operation of cybersecurity tools within an enterprise setting.
- Interfacing with both technical and managerial teams to effectively communicate cybersecurity needs and processes.
- Evaluating and enhancing the system security posture while adhering to customer guidelines.
- Contributing to multidisciplinary teams and playing a pivotal role in the development of technological proposals.
