Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM or related field with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree with 6 years of experience, including at least 1 year of experience leading projects or driving performance against schedules.
- Previous technical experience focused on software applications, technical project management, or system and technology operations.
- U.S. citizenship with an active Department of Defense Secret clearance is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of experience with Agile methodologies.
- Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate horizontal integration among Division and functional Software teams.
- Collaborate with the Division Homeroom to identify requirements and ensure task completion (Agile).
- Exhibit a proactive approach and accountability; take ownership of tasks and strategic direction.
- Build strong relationships, actively listen, communicate persuasively, and ensure accountability among stakeholders.
- Manage budget and forecasting across various teams and funding sources.
- Work with functional managers on the Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) portfolio, including budget planning, progress monitoring, and status reporting.
- Navigate uncertainty and create systematic approaches and strategies to address challenges.
- Prepare charts, presentations, and metrics as required to provide the Director with necessary insights about organizational health and task management.
- Act as a technical liaison with the SDS Division Integration for rotations, onboarding, and internships.
- Update project database information from multiple sources.
- Coordinate changes to the SharePoint database system with administrators and developers.
- Lead Software Community of Practice (CoP) schedules and communications across different locations.
