Project Systems Engineer

- Manage Control Accounts for the In-Flight Interceptor Communication Systems (IFICS) within the Missile Defense Agencys Ground-based Midcourse Defense program - Develop proposals and program management estimates, resolving any preparation challenges and monitoring progress against plans - Plan and coordinate labor, schedules, and resources for existing and new programs - Create and adhere to budget baselines using Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies - Collaborate with internal and external customers and integrated product teams - Analyze complex problems and devise effective solutions - Monitor program progress, identifying risks and issues - Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams, ensuring project updates are communicated promptly - Oversee costs, operational budgets, schedules, and manpower needs - Ensure compliance with organizational processes - Evaluate financial variances and adjustments to baseline plans - Participate in negotiations with customers - Recommend corrective actions like schedule revisions and resource allocations - Develop forecasts and support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) - Create executive level presentations - Manage risk and opportunity development - Maintain a consistent CAM approach across cost accounts, ensuring submission of high-quality financial reports and audit support
