Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution
- Principal Systems Engineer: 5 years of relevant experience (3 years with Masters, 1 year with PhD)
- Senior Principal Systems Engineer: 8 years of relevant experience (6 years with Masters, 4 years with PhD)
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval as required
- Preferred: 2+ years experience with Agile practices
- Preferred: 2+ years experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles
- Preferred: 3+ years experience with Requirements Development and Systems Engineering principles
- Preferred: Experience with DoD weapon system support systems design and analysis
- Preferred: Operational experience with Navy Strategic Weapons Facilities
- Preferred: Familiarity with digital design and modeling tools
Responsibilities
- Provide conceptual and preliminary design support for the Nuclear Sea Launched Cruise Missile focusing on RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability)
- Engage in RAM/Support/Sustainment trade studies and architecture development
- Collaborate with a team of designers, logisticians, and analysts on RAM and support equipment development
- Track the RAM/Support/Sustainment technology roadmap and identify capability gaps
- Innovate and challenge traditional practices while working in an advanced design setting
- Transition innovative solutions and technologies into programs of record for product development
- Help conceptualize new business opportunities to support Division growth
