Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related STEM field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master of Science in Engineering/related STEM field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of radar and/or electronic warfare (EW).
- Experience in operating radar and/or EW systems.
- Proficiency in operating RF test equipment.
- History of direct customer interaction and willingness to work at customer facilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Availability for extensive travel (up to 10 months a year) to Wallops Island, VA.
- Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance are mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site assistance with varying shifts from 8 to 12 hours.
- Offer support for five days each week.
- Travel frequently for extended periods (approximately 10 months annually) to Wallops Island, VA.
- Serve as the principal technical point of contact (TPOC) on-site for Northrop Grumman.
- Act as the intermediary between customer site operations and our program.
- Engage in hands-on system integration, testing, and operations.
- Diagnose and communicate technical findings and insights.
- Implement test procedures efficiently.
- Keep accurate inventory records.
- Create daily status updates, weekly summaries, and monthly progress reports.
