Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field with 5 years of experience; or a masters degree with 3 years; or a Ph.D. with 1 year.
- An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Capability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) prior to starting.
- Proficiency in multi-target tracking, adaptive processing, or sensor fusion algorithms.
- Experience with MATLAB or similar programming/analysis languages.
- Background in RF signal processing or related RF applications.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key individual contributor tasked with maintaining the performance and making minor adaptations to established algorithms and systems.
- Undertake technical assignments under general supervision, concentrating on preserving existing functions and implementing incremental enhancements.
- Confirm that existing systems meet performance standards by utilizing available documentation, such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Apply fundamental skills in MATLAB and C++ for basic analysis and code adjustments.
- Engage in the development and deployment of target tracking and sensor fusion systems for advanced multi-function RF subsystems.
- Analyze, shape, and correlate data from various modes including long-range search and track radar waveforms and electronic surveillance measurements.
- Develop parametric representations and visualizations early in the system lifecycle to support sensor requirement definitions and use case validation.
