Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Masters degree with 3+ years; or a PhD with 1 year of experience
- Active Top Secret security clearance with enrollment in Continuous Evaluation
- Ability to fulfill customer-specific security screening requirements within the timeframe set by management
- Willingness and capability to work onsite full-time
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming
- Familiarity with modern C++ standards and features (e.g., C++ 17 and later)
- Proven experience in analyzing system requirements to inform software design and performance
- Ability to design and write new software as well as modify existing software to incorporate new features
- Skill in debugging software and resolving defects
- Experience with open software/system architecture solutions
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Git-based or other software configuration management tools
Responsibilities
- Provide technical mentorship to junior software engineers
- Create software utilizing C/C++ to upgrade and implement a research codebase with contemporary C++ features
- Build software infrastructure to facilitate CI/CD processes, software metrics gathering, and MLOps
- Design software systems, applications, and architectures with a focus on modularity, scalability, and reliability, ensuring precision, accuracy, and performance
- Uphold industry best practices and standards in software engineering
- Collaborate closely with Software Leads and Architects to grasp program objectives, system capabilities, and output requirements
