Requirements
Must:
- Principal Network Engineer: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; 3 years with a Masters; 1 year with a PhD; or an additional 4 years in lieu of a degree
- Senior Principal Network Engineer: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors degree; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with a PhD; or an additional 4 years in lieu of a degree
- Active SCI/CI Polygraph required at the time of application
- Proficiency in IP subnetting
- Experience with Layer 1 through Layer 3 networking
- Familiarity with static and dynamic routing protocols
- Knowledge of Cisco Systems networking, including complex WAN configurations across multiple locations (internationally)
- Understanding of DISA STIGs applicable to network devices
- Security+ Certification
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain network systems
- Collaborate with various teams to analyze client network needs and implement DISA STIGs
- Conduct evaluations of vendor products and recommend hardware and software purchases
- Provide backup recovery solutions and maintain system records
- Optimize system performance and manage computing assets
- Architect and facilitate the deployment of global networks
- Implement cybersecurity requirements via STIG automation
- Integrate network systems, time servers, and other devices
- Assist in integrating products within labs and development environments
- Help uphold the systems information assurance standards
- Develop innovative solutions to complex issues as they emerge
