Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field AND 12 years of related professional or military experience OR
- Master of Science in a STEM field AND 10 years of related professional or military experience OR
- STEM Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional or military experience
- Ability to obtain and retain a final adjudicated government Secret clearance, with any necessary program access
- Experience with operations analysis and/or virtualization tools (e.g. AFSIM, Brawler, STK, MATLAB)
Responsibilities
- Conduct modeling, simulation, and analytical tasks to support program development and relevant R&D projects
- Create mission-specific scenarios and evaluate the operational effectiveness of both existing and new systems in realistic environments
- Develop and/or integrate simulation frameworks and models for various weapon systems components
- Analyze and assess next-generation tactical assets in advanced threat simulations
- Create software for simulating real-time operational environments and behaviors for virtual testing
- Model operational environments and conduct trade studies via computer simulation, providing recommendations for system architecture and configurations
- Aid in designing and developing visualization models and databases for high-fidelity simulations used in training
- Evaluate tools, hardware, and capabilities to enhance Virtual Simulation products
- Validate new system performance against cost-effectiveness and mission needs
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to integrate various capabilities
- Work independently or as part of a team depending on project requirements
- Function in an agile team environment
- Interpret and communicate modeling and simulation results in a clear and detailed manner
