Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM field or related discipline with a minimum of 12 years of experience in embedded software/hardware development, preferably on safety-critical or defense platforms; or a Masters degree with at least 10 years in the same field. - Proficiency in embedded systems including microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, FreeRTOS, or QNX, utilizing both Windows and Linux environments. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Podman, Kubernetes). - Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Nexus, and SonarQube. - Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. - Proven track record in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with the capability to obtain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and oversee end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for missile program codebases, integrating tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence). - Develop and sustain automation scripts and build configurations (CMake, Visual Studio, custom build scripts) to facilitate continuous integration, testing, and delivery of embedded software. - Create secure artifact repositories and establish version control strategies to ensure traceability, reproducibility, and compliance with DoD security protocols. - Utilize static analysis, code quality gates, and vulnerability scanning within the pipeline using SonarQube and other tools to uphold secure coding practices across various programming languages like C++, Python, and VxWorks. - Collaborate with embedded software engineers to customize build and testing procedures for real-time, safety-critical applications, including cross-compilation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and simulation environments. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams, promoting DevSecOps best practices and continual enhancement. - Coordinate across multiple networks and locations, standardizing pipeline configurations to ensure a consistent security posture and seamless code and artifact integration across geographically separated teams. - Maintain up-to-date documentation on pipeline architecture, build processes, security measures, and compliance proof for audits and accreditation purposes.
