Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in STEM fields with at least 8 years of experience in embedded software engineering or a related domain; or a Masters degree in STEM with 6+ years of experience; or a PhD in STEM with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership of an Integrated Product Team comprising 15 or more individuals.
- Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) responsibilities.
- Background in managing risks, opportunities, and issues associated with complex hardware and software subsystems.
- Familiarity with integrating electronics within a systems-of-systems approach.
- Active US Government DoD Secret security clearance, with capability to obtain clearance for Special Access Programs (SAP).
Responsibilities
- Direct engineering teams focused on Flight Software, DevOps, Software Architecture, Engineering Tools, and Ground Support Equipment Software.
- Oversee all aspects of software development initiatives.
- Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage technical activities.
- Act as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) and provide presentations to senior management regarding cost, schedule, and technical risks and opportunities.
- Conduct integration and development of hardware systems.
- Foster a collaborative atmosphere across diverse disciplines and organizations to effectively address and preemptively mitigate challenges as they arise.
