Requirements
Must:
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at application time, with ability to maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 2 years of relevant experience, OR a Masters in a STEM discipline
- For Principal Embedded Software Engineer: Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Masters in STEM with 3 years of related experience, OR a PhD in STEM with 1 year of related experience
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software development using C/C++/C#, Python, Java, or comparable programming languages
- At least 2 years experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns, hardware/software communication interfaces, real-time processing, and data analytics
- 2 years of experience in the complete software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and system applications
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary research and coordinate with equipment designers and hardware engineers for embedded systems
- Work within a team of software engineers in an Agile environment to achieve critical milestones
- Ensure compliance with program-specific software standards and criteria
- Develop within a continuous integration tool chain that meets both technical and compliance demands
