Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or GED with at least 9 years of experience in business, finance, accounting, or aerospace and defense-related fields
- Bachelors degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years in business management, finance, accounting, or program control
- Masters degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline accompanied by a minimum of 3 years in relevant fields
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated experience in supporting monthly financial forecasting processes
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and techniques
- Ability to work onsite in Plymouth, MN
Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee cost control systems and manage costs on contracts
- Conduct analyses and generate reports to ensure contractual compliance with agreed parameters and government cost control regulations
- Develop budgets for contract assignments and engage in financial analyses including funding forecasts and variance assessments
- Draft program plans to ensure all program specifications and scopes of work are documented and appropriately scheduled
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures to ensure adequate funding; manage preparation of funding requests to the government
- Integrate contractual modifications into control systems, ensuring realistic cost and schedule baselines are upheld
- Monitor contractual costs and schedules that necessitate a validated cost/schedule control system, assisting CAMs with EVM tasks such as work breakdown structure development, cost risk assessments, and visibility reporting
- Assist in audits and reviews as needed by programs, customers, and management, contributing financial inputs for internal reports and presentations
