Requirements

Must:
### - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field with 20 years of experience; 18 years with a Master's; or 15 years with a PhD. - A minimum of 10 years of experience in data infrastructure, DevOps, and data engineering, including 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role. - An active Secret Security Clearance. - Proven history of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data platforms, preferably utilizing cloud-based solutions. - Successful experience in leading sizable projects from inception through deployment, managing multidisciplinary teams, and achieving results through strategic vision and strong leadership. - Strong communication and presentation skills for effective collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and leadership. ###

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a thorough data strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives, focusing on digital engineering and advanced analytics throughout weapon system design, manufacturing, and sustainment. - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure, including data creation, collection, storage, management, integration, analysis, and serving through modern technology. - Lead and govern the program data infrastructure to ensure seamless data flow and traceability across engineering, supply chain, and operational systems. - Promote innovation and program adoption of data science, machine learning, and AI to enhance overall program performance. - Collaborate with engineering and business leaders to ensure that data initiatives align with corporate goals, leveraging AI and model-based systems engineering. - Develop a program data risk management process in line with overall program risk management. - Stay informed of current and emerging trends in data management and analytics, ensuring proper utilization across the organization. - Mentor and build a high-performing data team, fostering a culture centered around technical excellence and innovation. ###
