Cybersecurity Principal Analyst

- Conduct assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave, identifying deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy through passive evaluations and vulnerability assessments. - Implement stringent program control processes to mitigate risks and support system authorization efforts, including process assessment, security documentation, and investigations. - Assist in executing the necessary government policies (e.g., NISPOM, ICD 503), offering recommendations on process modifications and documenting activities. - Analyze and validate established security requirements, as well as recommend additional safeguards when needed. - Support formal System Assessments required by government authorizing authorities through pre-test preparations, participation in tests, result analysis, and report creation. - Document the outcomes of Assessment and Authorization activities, along with technical coordination, and prepare and update the System Security Plan(s) and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M). - Periodically review system audits and monitor corrective actions until all are resolved.
