Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline preferred from an accredited institution, or a Masters degree in a STEM field with 6 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience.
- Must possess a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application and have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of software development experience using Python and/or C++.
- Proficient in Linux with working knowledge of common utilities such as grep, awk, and head.
- Proven experience in developing, analyzing, testing, and implementing extendable or reusable algorithms.
- Experience in algorithm design and state estimation is required.
- Background in data analysis, including population statistics and trend analysis.
- Ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical execution.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and debug software and complex mathematical algorithms.
- Analyze and develop tracking and state estimation algorithms.
- Create tools and prototypes using Modern C++ and Python.
- Track and resolve algorithm defects.
- Prepare technical documentation as necessary.
- Collaborate within cross-discipline teams and communicate effectively across various engineering levels.
