Requirements
Must:
- 2–4 years of experience in IT support or Managed Service Provider (MSP) sector, ideally with MSP-specific background
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications or equivalent practical experience
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with at least one RMM tool (e.g., NinjaRMM, SuperOps, ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya)
- Strong problem-solving skills in Windows environments, networking, and hardware
- Excellent communication skills, especially in articulating technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Professional demeanor, self-motivated, and accountable in managing open tickets independently
- Experience in supporting Mac systems
- Valid California drivers license and a dependable vehicle for client visits
Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve Tier 2 support inquiries through various channels (phone, email, remote tools)
- Conduct on-site visits for clients in the Bay Area, representing NorthFlow Tech
- Assist in configuring and setting up our suite of MSP tools including RMM, PSA, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security
- Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including user administration, active directory, licensing, and security configurations
- Oversee and sustain client networks, servers, and endpoints using our RMM tools
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices such as firewalls, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems
- Participate in onboarding new clients and advising during prospect consultations as our technical authority
- Record client environments, standard operating procedures, and ticket resolutions in our PSA
- Aid in patch management, backup monitoring, and deployment of endpoint security solutions

Our focus is on delivering comprehensive managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions, allowing our clients to concentrate on their core operations without tech-related concerns. As we enter a phase of exciting growth, this is a unique opportunity to become integral to our team from the beginning. We offer part-time roles with prospects for full-time positions as we expand. Compensation ranges from $35 to $40 per hour based on experience, with approximately 20 flexible hours per week and various perks including mileage reimbursement and support for IT certification pursuits.
