Requirements
Must:
- Minimum seven years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise network systems
- At least seven years of experience managing Cisco routers and switches, along with Cisco Collaboration and VoIP systems
- Six years of experience managing and troubleshooting Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and wireless networks
- Proficiency in packet capture analysis and troubleshooting using Wireshark or similar tools
- Required certification: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
- Preferred certifications: ASE (Architecture Systems Engineer) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- Preferred educational background: Bachelors degree in Information Technology
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for the Network Engineer team to ensure stability, integrity, and efficiency of the IT network
- Collaborate with department leadership to develop long-term strategic technology roadmaps
- Provide technical oversight in the design, creation, and maintenance of enterprise technology systems
- Build, test, implement, and troubleshoot new technologies and systems
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance the financial and operational goals of NKC Health
- Ensure the Network Engineer team maintains up-to-date documentation on existing systems and new products deployed
- Offer subject matter expertise in a wide range of technology used throughout the health system
- Provide technical guidance in all operations supported by the Network Engineer team
Description
We are excited to offer a hybrid position, starting with four days a week in the office during the training period, transitioning to 2-3 days a week in the office thereafter. This role involves an on-call rotation occurring every fifth week. You will work under the direction of the IT Infrastructure Supervisor, providing crucial technical leadership for our Network Engineer team. Our focus is on ensuring the reliable operation of our information technology network, which plays a vital role in supporting our core organizational functions.
