- We are seeking a professional to develop and implement a comprehensive, forward-thinking technology strategy that aligns with our college's academic and operational priorities. - Collaboration with faculty, staff, and students will be crucial to understanding business needs and identifying, as well as implementing, technology solutions that optimize processes, enhance service delivery, boost administrative efficiency, and support teaching, learning, and research. - You will lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives designed to modernize systems, streamline operations, and improve the experiences of students, faculty, and staff by staying informed about emerging technologies and trends in higher education. - Drive artificial intelligence initiatives by working with departments to explore, implement, and guide the responsible adoption of AI, which enhances business operations, enriches educational services, and promotes efficiency while ensuring alignment with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. - Oversee cybersecurity and data management, which includes developing policies, managing risks, and planning for disaster recovery. - Manage the IT infrastructure and operations to guarantee reliability and performance across networks, servers, telecommunications, cloud services, and core enterprise systems. - You will administer the department's budget and negotiate contracts with technology vendors and consultants, evaluating and recommending cost-effective technology investments in support of our institutional goals. - Lead and develop the IT staff, fostering a culture that values collaboration and service, while identifying inventive staffing solutions. - Advocate for cybersecurity awareness and best practices throughout the college community. - Ensure our IT systems and practices comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations, including FERPA and accreditation requirements.
