Requirements
Must:
- Currently pursuing a PhD or Masters degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited US institution.
- Strong analytical abilities to conduct swift research and extract actionable insights.
- Proficient in programming, especially in Python, and experienced with popular libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Solid foundational understanding of communication theory and artificial intelligence principles.
- Hands-on experience with digital twinning, 3D rendering, and analysis tools (e.g., Carla, Blender or similar).
- Familiarity with semantic and goal-oriented communication principles.
- Practical knowledge in training and evaluating advanced neural network models.
- Understanding of radio access network operations, including PHY, MAC, and higher-layer protocols.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of the Bell Labs Network Architecture Research team.
- Design and implement software solutions focusing on Digital Twins and AI for RAN.
- Demonstrate the developed solutions effectively.
- Utilize open-source and cloud software technologies in projects.
