Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in IT support roles with a focus on help desk functions, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, drivers, and label printer configurations.
- Hands-on experience with operating systems, particularly Windows.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.
- Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot hardware issues involving computers and mobile devices; a solid understanding of computer components is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical issues effectively to non-technical users while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Strong analytical skills for quickly diagnosing complex problems while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Provide extensive technical support for logistics software applications, including troubleshooting for warehouse and transportation management systems, along with various enterprise software such as Extensiv, Deposco, Bartender labeling, Google Workspace, and MS Office applications like Word and Excel.
- Assist users with computer hardware issues, operating systems (Windows), and peripheral devices including printers and mobile gadgets.
- Manage computer systems utilizing tools like Splashtop.
- Support IT team members with network hardware administration tasks.
- Resolve software problems related to Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Windows, and applications like Jira.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate effectively with a team of three other IT department members.
