Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Over 3 years of experience in automotive requirements engineering (OEM or Tier-1)
- Proficient with Requirements Management Tools (such as JIRA, DOORS Next, Polarion)
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO/SAE 21434 (Cybersecurity)
- Strong understanding of ASPICE
- Experience with vehicle body electronics, power closure systems, immobilizers, DC/DC converters, or similar technologies
- Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship is not available)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface between automotive OEM customers and internal teams
- Gather, analyze, and document stakeholder and system requirements from customer specifications and industry standards
- Oversee requirements management in JIRA, ensuring comprehensive bidirectional traceability
- Conduct requirements reviews with OEM clients and cross-functional internal teams
- Decompose and allocate requirements to hardware, software, mechanical, and various other disciplines
- Facilitate change management, gap analysis, and assess the impact of requirement modifications
- Aid in the development of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity concepts, ensuring traceable safety and security requirements
- Confirm requirement testability and assist in planning for verification and validation
- Contribute to ASPICE SYS.1–SYS.5 processes and assist with customer audits
