Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience in providing technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues - Proficient in managing computers across diverse operating systems, particularly Windows and macOS - Strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN configuration, VPN setup, firewalls, and security protocols - Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira for effective issue tracking - Knowledgeable about computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals - Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical users with outstanding customer service - Experience with IT support tools, including OS updates, security patches, and remote management software

Responsibilities

- Deliver technical assistance to end-users for any hardware, software, or networking concerns, ensuring swift resolutions and minimal interruptions - Oversee and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals, across various operating systems like Windows - Address software-related issues concerning operating systems, applications (e.g., Microsoft Office), and specialized tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Help Desk platforms - Set up and support networking components, such as LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and switches, to ensure secure and dependable connections - Assist with hardware setup, upgrades, repairs, and inventory management to maintain equipment efficiency - Monitor the health of IT infrastructure through tools, including Linux-based systems and BMC Remedy, for proactive issue identification - Carefully document incidents, solutions, and procedures to enhance continuous improvement in IT support processes
