Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in software engineering specifically related to radar Command & Control systems (excluding embedded radar development)
- Proficient in radar data management, track correlation, and sensor integration
- Practical experience with systems that coordinate multiple ground-based radar units
- Capability to interpret and utilize raw radar measurement data and tracking outputs
- Background in operational or defense sectors
- Excellent communication skills for direct interaction with clients and translating requirements
Responsibilities
- Process and evaluate raw radar measurement data alongside locally generated radar tracks within a C2 framework
- Develop and execute solutions for track correlation and data fusion to create a consolidated air picture
- Collaborate with software systems used in operational environments to integrate various ground-based radars with overlapping coverage
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to formulate high-level Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Convert mission objectives and design dialogue into precise, actionable software development specifications
- Assist in system integration activities, including testing and validation in real-world or simulated scenarios
Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in the Command & Control segment of radar systems. This position emphasizes the processing and integration of radar data rather than embedded software development. The perfect candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of radar measurement data and track data integration to support a cohesive operational picture. Our team provides a competitive salary ranging from $120,000.00 to $175,000.00 annually, along with benefits including a 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance. This role requires in-person participation.
