Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of practical experience in enterprise network engineering
- Proficient in Cisco routing and switching technologies
- Experience in managing enterprise firewall systems
- Practical knowledge of load balancing solutions and traffic management
- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python or YAML)
- Understanding of network monitoring and performance assessment tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication capabilities
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Preferred: Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, Network+, or Security+
- Preferred: Experience with cloud-based networking and SD-WAN solutions
- Preferred: Background in large-scale enterprise settings
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance and address issues to ensure optimal availability
- Manage firewall settings and centralized policy configurations
- Support load balancing strategies, including advanced traffic management and rule setups
- Utilize automation tools and scripting to enhance network operations and reporting
- Maintain precise documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Conduct capacity planning, performance testing, and proactive monitoring
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex challenges
- Assess emerging technologies to bolster network performance and security
- Provide reports and insights regarding network performance to leadership
