Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an engineering or design-oriented position (mechanical, structural, or architectural preferred)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, physics, and motion dynamics
- Capacity to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
- Familiarity with drafting principles and design best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to generate precise, high-quality work
- Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
- Create mechanical system layouts in accordance with established engineering standards, customer needs, and building specifications
- Develop 2D and 3D layout drawings utilizing drafting and modeling software
- Analyze engineering documents, product specifications, and survey information to deliver accurate and manufacturable designs
- Process and present layout submissions in line with daily production timelines and performance goals
- Review designs and documentation to confirm adherence to quality standards and design criteria
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to facilitate process enhancements, problem-solving efforts, and project implementation
- Attend team meetings and actively contribute to ongoing operational and engineering projects
