Requirements
Must:
- 10-15 years of professional software development experience
- Proven track record as a Senior Engineer or Technical Architect
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React + Redux and/or Angular, Node.js / Express
- Experience with both MongoDB and SQL databases
- Comprehensive understanding of RESTful services and API design
- Solid knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
- Background in Agile development methodologies
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
- Experience leading technical teams or projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture design (preferred)
- Understanding of performance optimization and scalability techniques (preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and technical direction for applications and services
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications
- Establish technical standards, best practices, and development workflows
- Lead architectural decision-making across front-end, back-end, and data services
- Mentor team members in adopting modern development patterns and tools
- Create rich, responsive user interfaces utilizing React + Redux and/or Angular
- Construct scalable backend services with Node.js and Express
- Implement real-time features using Socket.IO
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and web services
- Develop interactive client-side functionality utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX
- Manage data models using MongoDB, SQL, and Mongoose
- Optimize data queries to ensure integrity and performance
- Integrate third-party systems and services through RESTful APIs
- Advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Write automated tests using Mocha/Chai, Enzyme, and Protractor
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and build processes
- Use modern build tools including npm, Bower, Grunt, Gulp, and Webpack
- Oversee version control with Git and structured Git workflows
