Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in supporting HPC compilers and libraries.
- Proficient in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of job management tools such as SLURM, Moab, TORQUE, PBS, and similar.
- Skilled in configuring, installing, and troubleshooting MPI and OpenMP.
- Practical experience with at least one distributed file system like Spectrum Scale-GPFS, Lustre, BeeGFS, Gluster, IMRIX, or PVFS.
- Familiarity with operating system deployment tools (e.g., XCAT, ROCKS).
- Experience in configuring, administering, and supporting network storage subsystems, including IBM, NetApp, DataDirect Network, LSI, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Infiniband and a sound understanding of its concepts and OFED layers.
- Ability to configure, install, tune, and maintain scientific application software on large-scale systems.
- Knowledge of systems automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of systems, including administration, monitoring, and performance evaluation of storage and network components.
- Oversee the management of network switches, parallel file systems, and the HPC software stack and tools.
- Provide high-level scientific and technical support to users.
- Conduct training sessions to educate researchers in utilizing advanced HPC technology and super-computing resources effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal resource allocation and system performance.
- Stay updated on the latest HPC technologies and incorporate them into our processes when applicable.
