Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and data architecture
- Practical experience with Azure tools such as Data Factory, Data Lakes, Azure SQL, and storage solutions
- Strong background in ETL processes and capability to build data pipelines from the ground up
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and performance optimization
- Experience in data architecture
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality tools
- Familiarity with machine learning workflows
- Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure technologies (Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, etc.)
- Integrate data from various sources including APIs, databases, cloud applications, and streaming data
- Organize, cleanse, and transform data for reporting, dashboards, or advanced analytics
- Ensure data security and compliance with governance and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to provide necessary data
- Troubleshoot issues to maintain system performance
- Automate and enhance processes wherever feasible
- Keep abreast of the latest Azure technologies and best practices in data engineering
