Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree with at least 15 credit hours in cybersecurity, information assurance, or information technology, plus two years of IT experience, with at least one year in information security or information assurance. - Alternatively, a bachelors degree in any field with a minimum of three years in information technology experience, including at least one year in information security or information assurance. - An associates degree in any field coupled with four years of IT experience, including one year in information security or information assurance. - Five years of experience in information security or information assurance. - 2+ years dedicated to identity and access management, particularly in multi-environments (experience with Oracle and Microsoft is a bonus). - 5+ years in IT administration or an equivalent combination of work and education. - Intermediate to advanced understanding of identity technologies and related concepts. - Proficiency in directories, Single Sign-On (SSO), identity federation, privileged access management, and automated lifecycle management. - Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GPEN, GWAPT, GCIH, OSCP, CEH, Security+, etc.) are preferred. - Knowledge of application integration patterns and API-based access control. - Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID hardening, role-based access control, active directory attributes, and privileged identity management. - Experience configuring and maintaining Conditional Access policies in Microsoft Entra ID and enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). - Skilled in implementing controls, identity lifecycle management, and third-party integrations for automation using Microsoft Entra ID Governance. - Understanding of administering Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Microsoft Entra ID, including the creation of custom roles and access reviews. - Ability to utilize Active Directory and Entra ID attributes for automating access provisioning using dynamic group rules. - Proficient in supporting Privileged Identity Management (PIM) through just-in-time access configurations and approval workflows.

Responsibilities

- Lead the establishment and execution of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements alongside security policies. - Assist in the design and documentation of IAM architecture, identity governance, and role-based access control. - Manage security operations tasks concerning IAM, including incident response and recommended solutions. - Identify and address gaps in the current infrastructure related to personnel onboarding and offboarding. - Ensure compliance of IAM processes with industry standards (NIST, ISO, CIS) and internal policies set by the CISO and SecOps teams. - Conduct regular audits and assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and maintain compliance. - Evaluate current applications and architecture to ensure alignment with identity-first security strategies and best practices. - Define methodologies for integrating IAM solutions with existing and new applications, including cloud services and on-prem systems. - Collaborate closely with other IT teams (O365, Windows, Linux, EA, etc.) to ensure smooth integration and teamwork. - Undertake other duties as assigned.
