Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles.
- Proficient in IT ticketing systems (Atera is advantageous), OpenConnect VPN, TeamViewer remote access, Slack, and Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with effective communication skills tailored for non-technical users.
- Strong analytical capabilities for quick, professional, and efficient problem diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical assistance for desktop hardware, software, and network issues affecting 30 users.
- Troubleshoot and rectify software challenges, including those related to Microsoft Office applications.
- Manage computer systems by overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (Windows and macOS).
- Offer remote support for retail stores regarding their POS systems.
- Analyze system performance and suggest enhancements.
- Address and resolve help desk tickets promptly.
- Support mobile devices and ensure their compatibility with the existing IT framework.
- Collaborate with the office manager and the remote IT head to coordinate tasks effectively.
Description
We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to further our IT teams mission. As part of our support network, you will assist our client with multiple stores, performing both remote and on-site technical support as necessary. We value punctuality, exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and strong communication skills within a fast-paced environment. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
