Requirements
Must:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must hold an active TS clearance upon application, be prepared to obtain SCI access, and successfully pass a CI polygraph
- Onsite presence is required 5 days a week in Chantilly, VA
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in the development of web applications
- Familiarity with the SAFe Agile framework and involvement in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) processes
- In-depth knowledge of web application security protocols and Section 508 compliance
- Proven track record in creating complex web applications within government and classified settings
- Advanced skills in Angular, React, or other contemporary frontend frameworks
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks
- Experience with backend web technologies (.NET C#, Python, Node.js) along with RESTful API design
- Strong capabilities in database integration (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL)
- Experience with search/indexing tools (Elasticsearch) and messaging/state management (RabbitMQ, Redis)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S) and DevSecOps methodologies
Responsibilities
- Create, test, and implement robust web-based software adhering to best practices
- Convert UI/UX design wireframes into operational code
- Maintain and test software to ensure continued functionality
- Document all aspects of applications and services for future reference
- Oversee and manage all facets of website/application tools
- Generate content for various websites/tools that serve as key information resources
- Develop searches, reports, and dashboards for web applications
- Suggest software upgrades for current and upcoming systems
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 requirements for web applications
- Put in place security measures to safeguard web applications from vulnerabilities
- Enhance web application speed and scalability
- Engage in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) initiatives
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical support
