Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years in a related IT help desk, service desk, or technical support role
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to articulate technical information clearly
- Comprehensive experience with Windows and macOS systems as well as mobile devices
- In-depth hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Office productivity applications
- Solid knowledge of network administration, including Windows Server and Active Directory
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware
- Skilled in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server 2019 and later
- Proficient with Entra ID/Azure AD and Intune
- Knowledge of HP and Dell hardware, Barracuda Backup, BlackPoint Cyber, Fortinet solutions, Huntress, NinjaOne, SentinelOne EDR, and Veeam
- Good understanding of Group Policy creation and troubleshooting
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration
Responsibilities
- Provide timely and professional support for end-user issues related to software, hardware, and network connectivity
- Manage escalated tickets from help desk colleagues, ensuring prompt resolution of complex or high-priority problems
- Assist field engineers with project-related tasks and technical preparations
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the support process with clear and consistent updates
- Support a wide variety of technologies, including Microsoft 365, EDR platforms, network access, printers, internet connectivity, servers/VMs, hybrid cloud setups, security tools, backup systems, and email services
- Offer remote and phone-based support while actively engaging clients to understand their requirements
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues
- Properly categorize, prioritize, and resolve support tickets, escalating when necessary
- Keep detailed documentation and adhere to established ticketing and follow-up protocols
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on client file servers
