Requirements

Must:
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles, including VPN and LAN configurations. - Proven experience in delivering IT support in a help desk setting. - Proficient in troubleshooting Windows operating systems and applications. - Familiar with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory for user account management. - Knowledge of firewall configurations and endpoint security is advantageous. - Desirable experience with mobile device management. - Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical individuals. - Strong analytical abilities with a meticulous approach to problem-solving. - Capacity to function independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a dynamic environment. - Willingness to work in shifts (Day, Mid, and Swing) rotating every three months and including weekends.

Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical assistance for hardware, software, and network-related issues. - Troubleshoot and resolve challenges associated with Windows operating systems and applications. - Support users with mobile devices, ensuring they remain connected and functional. - Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory. - Monitor and sustain local area network (LAN) performance. - Utilize ticketing systems like AutoTask, Connectwise, or HaloPSA to manage and track support requests. - Implement and uphold firewall settings to guarantee network security. - Work collaboratively with fellow IT team members to tackle more intricate problems. - Document solutions and revise knowledge base articles for future reference. - Provide training and advice to users on technology best practices.
