Requirements
Must:
- I have 8 years of experience in scripting and infrastructure automation utilizing tools such as PowerShell, Python, Go, or Ruby.
- I possess deep expertise in Containers, Kubernetes, serverless computing implementation, and distributed systems design patterns.
- I am knowledgeable in DevOps/SRE development methodologies.
- I am proficient in Linux/Unix and CoreOS.
- I have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- I can lead a Scrum team and influence stakeholders to effectively manage a product backlog and oversee sprints.
- I must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- I am willing to participate in on-call rotations and may be required to work during odd hours.
- I prefer to hold either an interim Secret clearance (or above) or have recently completed a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) background check.

Responsibilities
- I will identify areas where automation can streamline operations and minimize risks, developing software to automate deployment, packaging, and monitoring processes.
- I will collaborate closely with other Cloud Infrastructure Engineers and developers to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and automation of our infrastructure.
- I will provide troubleshooting and debugging support for service limitations across the software stack, along with advanced tier 2 and 3 support for our Cloud Data Service solutions.
- I will continuously monitor and analyze system health, availability, and latency using tools such as Prometheus, Stackdriver, ElasticSearch, Grafana, and SolarWinds, developing strategies to enhance system and application performance.
- I will address complex production incidents and cross-platform issues in cloud-based SaaS/IaaS environments, implementing SRE best practices for effective resolution.
- I will stay informed about security protocols and proactively identify, diagnose, and address intricate security challenges.
- I will use Atlassian tools along with first-party cloud service management tools to track and resolve issues based on priority.
