Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking a candidate with at least 8 years of experience in product management, specifically with a focus on developer-oriented products.
- A strong understanding of AI-related customer goals, challenges, market trends, and essential concepts is necessary.
- Excellent skills in facilitating and managing planning processes in demanding stakeholder environments are crucial.
- Effective communication skills and strong business insight are a must.
- Ideally, you should have experience with open-source products like Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, Cadence, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL.
- A technical comprehension of key cloud architecture concepts is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher is desirable.
Responsibilities
As the Product Manager for the AI Market Segment, I will expect you to leverage your extensive knowledge of AI markets and technologies paired with robust product management capabilities. You will lead product initiatives that focus on the AI application market by:
- Gaining a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the AI market through market insights, customer research, and experimentation.
- Developing and sustaining a vision for the segment, creating and promoting engaging narratives that align with and inspire product teams, engineering, go-to-market strategies, and executives, ensuring a compelling value proposition for the segment.
- Establishing yourself as a credible expert in the AI market segment to support go-to-market efforts by crafting engaging narratives that will propel sales strategies and support high-value customer interactions and presentations.
- Acting as a primary point for escalation and resolution regarding urgent issues within the AI market segment, whether they pertain to individual strategic customer matters or broader priority discussions.
