Requirements
Must:
- 5 years of experience in product management specifically focused on developer-oriented products.
- Prior experience in software development.
- Strong comprehension of customer objectives, challenges, market trends, and industry concepts.
- Exceptional abilities in coordinating and managing planning within demanding stakeholder environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and insight into product market fit.
- Familiarity with open-source products like Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, Cadence, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Technical knowledge of key cloud architecture principles.
- A Bachelors Degree or equivalent is typically required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Combine extensive market knowledge and technological insights with strong product management competencies to drive product initiatives.
- Refine and enhance our strategy to ensure alignment with company objectives and to advocate for capabilities aimed at application developers and operators.
- Conduct market research, customer discovery, and experimentation to better understand the problem space.
- Develop and promote persuasive narratives (working backwards stories) to inspire alignment and interest among product, engineering, go-to-market (GTM), and executive teams based on a compelling value proposition.
- Serve as a knowledgeable expert in your domain to support and propel GTM efforts, including crafting engaging narratives to support sales strategies.
- Act as a key point of escalation and resolution for urgent priority calls within your domain, whether addressing individual strategic customer issues or broader prioritization discussions.
