Requirements
Must:
- Strong technical foundation in cloud concepts and technologies, particularly in Google Cloud.
- Passion for addressing customer business challenges with innovative cloud technology solutions.
- Exceptional personal initiative and ability to drive customer success with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience engaging with customers in the as-a-Service domain.
- Excellent prioritization and project management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Hands-on experience conducting proofs-of-concept for software, hardware, or cloud-based solutions in a pre-sales context.
- In-depth understanding of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and its applications in cloud environments for workloads such as SAP, HPC, virtual desktops, and VMware.
- Knowledge of container orchestration runtime concepts and solutions, especially Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure, workload experience, and data migration methodologies is a plus.
- 8 years of experience in a Cloud Solutions Architect role.
- Google Cloud certifications are a plus, as is experience in EDA Solutions.
Responsibilities
- Qualify customer opportunities and design customized solutions utilizing NetApps offerings in Google Cloud.
- Deliver engaging presentations during customer and partner briefings, as well as at Google and NetApp sales meetings and industry events.
- Create and implement proofs-of-concept to demonstrate the effectiveness and value of our solutions.
- Ensure smooth transitions of new customer wins to Professional Services and Customer Success teams.
- Actively participate in and host industry meet-ups and user groups to foster strong community relationships.
- Maintain accurate and current status of customer opportunities within Salesforce.
- Engage in continuous learning to remain informed about public cloud services and emerging technologies.
