Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of hands-on C++ programming experience.
- Proficient in C++ and JAVA programming languages.
- Experience in Linux and Android software development.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Proficient in Python scripting for tools or automation.
- Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, HTTPs, and/or other open-source network toolkits.
- Experience with chroot environments and complex software integrations.
- Familiarity with STM32 development.
- Experience with Linux drivers, kernel modules, and system integration.
- Capability to write Android JNI-Level C++ modules and related Java modules to interface with JNI components.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interact proficiently with hardware, software, and testing engineers.
- Strong documentation skills to clearly present designs and technical information to peers and managers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating resourcefulness and ownership in problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Implement agile software methodologies to facilitate rapid prototyping and multiple releases to align with market demands.
- Maintain a results-driven mindset, emphasizing urgency to progress on complex design challenges.
- Contribute to development support activities, including conducting code reviews, collaborating in design sessions, and participating in project/sprint planning and feature demonstrations.
- Demonstrate a commitment to writing testable software, with a strong focus on unit testing code produced.
- Create and sustain intricate C++ subsystems.
- Take ownership of significant projects, independently formulating, architecting, and delivering new product features while gaining support from leadership and team members.
- Guide the NetAlly technical roadmap through software development for both new and existing products.
- Engage in system-level integration, validation, and testing across multiple NetAlly products.
- Develop and maintain software specifications, test plans, and technical documentation.
