Requirements

Must:
To qualify for the Lead IT Technician position, you should have one of the following: - A High School Diploma or GED equivalent with over 5 years of experience in information technology, specifically in system operations and hardware support within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, logistics, military, or a related environment. - Alternatively, a 2-year Technical Degree or Certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar setting.

Responsibilities

As a Lead IT Technician, my responsibilities include: - Providing advanced analytical, technical, and developmental support for existing and future factory computer-related hardware, as well as manufacturing data collection systems and business information technology. - Evaluating, developing, documenting, and maintaining in-house information and data collection systems. - Installing, configuring, performance tuning, administering, and troubleshooting all in-house computer-related hardware, software, databases, networks, communication, and multimedia systems. - Maintaining reliability and driving continuous improvement of factory floor solutions to support the goals and key performance indicators of manufacturing and distribution operations. - Collaborating with all levels of factory personnel to plan, scope, and lead projects that align with business and operational objectives, providing effective and innovative solutions. - Assisting in training, coaching, and developing the technical competencies of junior IT associates. - Ensuring compliance and factory readiness for data backup, disaster recovery, software licensing, security, and authorization policies. - Planning and coordinating the local implementation of new and enhanced software and responding to user requests for improved information systems using sound business judgment.
