Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, particularly in physical security or technical system implementation.
- A bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or another relevant technical field.
- General knowledge of project management principles.
- Basic understanding of video management systems and security camera operations.
- Familiarity with IT communication and networking concepts, including protocols, encryption, virtual private networking, operating systems, and resource allocation.
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles related to security and low voltage systems.
- Understanding of the engineering design cycle and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- A valid US drivers license.
- Preference for Lean Six Sigma certification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of security projects and provide support to senior management in strategy development and priority facilitation.
- Ensure effective collaboration among agency stakeholders.
- Monitor and track project tasks and progress.
- Support project managers in advancing security initiatives.
- Assist in the development of security policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and improve security programs through performance reviews and identifying enhancement areas.
- Assist in monitoring project budgets, reporting, and maintaining the video library for operational insights and documentation of incidents.
- Track assigned projects and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Engage stakeholders to review and update security systems, protocols, and policies as needed.
- Conduct research and assessments of emerging security technologies and vendors, such as AI surveillance tools.
- Support tracking and reporting on various tactical programs like drones and deployable cameras as required.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare financial reports to align with funding allocations and cost controls.
Description
We are seeking a dedicated Analyst to join our H Office of Security, where you will play a vital role in supporting our security initiatives. This position requires presence at various locations within the Service Territory, with eligibility for one telework day per week after 30 days of employment.
