Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of experience in SSIS development
- More than 5 years of Python programming expertise
- At least 5 years of SQL Server development involving large datasets
- Familiarity with the Financial Services sector
- Experience using Enterprise Scheduling or Orchestration tools such as Tidal or Airflow
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts including OLTP, dimensions, facts, and data modeling
- Proficient in cloud-based data architectures, messaging, and analytics
- Experience creating and deploying ETL pipelines with Databricks Pyspark
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Masters degree is preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2/3 support for existing ETL processes
- Oversee and troubleshoot scheduled ETL jobs, identifying and resolving issues or inefficiencies
- Develop ETL processes using SSIS, Python, and SQL (SQL Server/Oracle)
- Craft SQL queries and perform programming tasks, including writing stored procedures and reverse engineering existing processes
- Create and optimize data pipelines for effective data ingestion, transformation, and loading from diverse sources while ensuring data quality and integrity
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
- Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance
- Conduct code reviews to match requirements, ensure optimal execution patterns, and adhere to set standards
