Requirements
Must:
- A rising senior or graduate student.
- Proficient in a programming language to achieve investigative objectives (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with computer networking and system administration, including analysis of network requests/responses and usage of virtual machines.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to synthesize complex data from various sources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape, including knowledge of different blockchain networks, cryptocurrencies, and exchanges.
- Capability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for technically demanding cybersecurity and cryptocurrency-related tasks that support investigative initiatives.
- Develop and document tools for collecting, classifying, and organizing information.
- Conduct investigations into cryptocurrency, trace blockchain transactions, gather aggregated blockchain data, and perform open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis.
- Prepare reports and other materials to convey findings.
- Work collaboratively with fellow investigative team members.
- Engage in ongoing research and development activities.
