Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Masters degree is preferred
- Over 7 years of experience in payments technology, ideally in a financial institution or payment service provider
- In-depth knowledge of ACH, FedWire, Western Union, Security Transfers, and Cashier Checks processing
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and FIS payment products
- Proficient in Java/JavaEE, Microsoft Azure, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience in API design, integration, and migration
- Familiar with Oracle GoldenGate, Azure ADO, and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and cloud networking
- Knowledge of sanctions screening, BSA/AML compliance, and financial messaging standards
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence product strategy
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as architecture, product, platform, and business to deliver robust enterprise payment solutions
- Analyze and document the interactions between payment products, APIs, and applications hosted on Oracle Cloud and Microsoft Azure
- Lead data migration, report migration, and API migration efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
- Utilize Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and synchronization across platforms
- Provide production support for payment applications, ensuring they are highly available and performant
- Conduct status reporting using Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) to track progress, risks, and dependencies
- Evaluate and address non-functional aspects of payment applications, including scalability, reliability, and security
- Ensure adherence to payment protocols such as ISO 20022 and various regulatory requirements, including Sanctions Screening and BSA/AML
- With experience in sanctions screening products
- Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Contribute to Agile product delivery and DevSecOps practices
