Senior Platform Engineer - OCI

- Design, revise, and implement automation solutions to enhance the management of the Windows server environment. - Identify and resolve challenges associated with Windows Server or Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems. - Create and adjust Active Directory groups, objects, and policies concerning Windows/Linux Server management. - Develop, maintain, and implement server hardening policies. - Offer daily operational support and carry out engineering tasks to fulfill business requirements. - Be available for after-hours on-call support on a rotational schedule. - Ensure compliance with organizational information security policies and take charge of remediation efforts based on audit findings or process improvement recommendations. - Address security vulnerabilities detected through routine and ad-hoc system audits and assessments of Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Cloud infrastructures. - Take part in Information Security Incident Response activities for our environment. - Create and uphold documentation covering all aspects of the environment, supporting systems, and processes. - Manage Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) resources on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). - Configure and oversee Virtual Cloud Network (VCN), Subnets, and Routing rules on OCI. - Implement, apply regular patches and manage Compute, Storage, and Load Balancers on OCI. - Provision and oversee cloud database services like Autonomous Database (ATP DB) and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) on OCI. - Administer and manage Oracle PaaS services like Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle FAW, and Oracle Data Integrator. - Set up and manage Jump Servers and SFTP Servers on OCI. - Provide functional and technical support, manage incidents, oversee instance administration, and support releases and upgrades. - Engineer, implement, and maintain patch updates and backups. - Manage roles and access within Oracle Cloud Environments. - Deliver advanced technical support for intricate technical issues, potentially leading problem management cases and providing management status updates.
