Requirements
Must:
- 3-5 years of experience in exploratory data analysis, statistics, or relevant analytical work
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar quantitative fields
- Skills in programming, data modeling, simulation, and applied mathematics
- Proficient in SQL, R, Python, SAS, or similar statistical programming languages
- Experience in model development and lifecycle execution
- Technical writing and data storytelling abilities, with the capacity to convey statistical concepts to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Working knowledge of procedures, instructions, and validation techniques
- Strong collaboration skills to build relationships across teams
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion within established procedures
- Effective problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and assess moderately complex predictive models and advanced algorithms
- Extract meaningful insights from large, intricate data and metadata sources
- Test hypotheses and models; analyze, interpret, and document outcomes
- Review input data, assumptions, and outcomes of models and analytical methods to evaluate potential risks and fairness
- Utilize statistical analysis, modeling, and trend analysis to assess outcomes and provide actionable insights
- Develop and code moderately complex software programs, algorithms, and automated analytical processes
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, charts, and tables that facilitate effective decision-making and risk monitoring
- Gain an understanding of best practices concerning model governance, ethical AI, and responsible analytics use
- Collaborate with business partners, compliance, legal, and subject-matter experts to enhance analysis and mitigate risks
- Communicate analytical findings clearly, both in writing and verbally, to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership
- Lead or contribute to small projects and team initiatives
