Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience
- 10-12 years of experience in software development
- Extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: systems engineering, software engineering, technology management
- Enabled event streaming for critical use cases like payments, notifications, audit events, and system integrations
- Designed and led event-driven architectures to support loosely coupled, scalable, and resilient systems across payment and core financial platforms
- Significant experience with:
- Object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java / J2EE
- Developing web services, microservices, APIs using REST and SOAP
- Deploying applications to private, public, and hybrid cloud environments (e.g., Azure)
- Enterprise cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos, Azure Data Lake)
- Continuous Integration & Delivery practices and tools
- Software development practices including system requirements definition, development, testing, and deployment
- Engineering principles to solve complex issues and conduct advanced analyses
- End-to-end IT process, covering architecture, design, implementation, and operations
- Agile methodologies
- Product management lifecycle
- Automating system/application deployment, configuration, or management through scripting/applications
- Advanced skills in:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, systems analysis, workflow analysis, and innovative problem-solving
- Designing and deploying new or enhanced systems, organizing problems or work processes for technical solutions, and building collaboration within teams
- Database and presentation software expertise, along with research abilities
- Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management capabilities
- Experienced in collaboration with staff at all levels, including guiding and mentoring others, management, stakeholders, and vendors
- Proven ability to devise innovative solutions for complex system integration issues

Responsibilities
- Design, create, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that fulfill both business and technical requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and security protocols
- Analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and execute effective solutions
- Partner with Technical Product Owner / Manager, Project Manager, and Scrum Master to guide the planning and delivery of products and features
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and developers to define, document, and analyze technical designs for processes, workflows, integrations, and controls
- Analyze technical challenges and advise the team on mitigation strategies and corrective actions
- Manage the product backlog in collaboration with developers, architects, Scrum Master, and business product owner
- Define and push for technical enablers and non-functional requirements
- Conduct peer design and code reviews, providing guidance on standards and best practices
- Develop implementation strategies, coordinate with dependent teams, and oversee release and change management processes
- Manage the Continuous Integration & Delivery toolchain
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, system, and application issues
- Supervise the resolution of system and application defects
- Oversee the monitoring of systems, applications, and services post-deployment
- Create and maintain product documentation
- Cultivate deep domain knowledge of products, platforms, and technologies
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, sharing insights with the team
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Foster relationships with leadership, team members, and internal/external stakeholders, including vendors
